Twenty Three Set to Run the 2021 Falmouth Road Race on Behalf of League

It Takes A Great Team to Make A Great League

League School of Greater Boston is excited to announce their team for the upcoming 2021 Falmouth Road Race taking place on Sunday, August 15th.  League School has participated in the race for the past five years through the Falmouth Road Race’s “Numbers for Non-Profits” Program.

This year’s team will be the largest to represent the school with twenty-three participants set to run while raising both money and awareness for League School and students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The 2021 team features League School teachers, staff and parents. In addition, there was an overwhelming response from local residents willing to support the school and be a part in this fun summer event.

Walpole resident and new comer to the team, Rich Carlo, stated, “As a resident of Walpole, I’ve always been aware of League School but learning more about their work and seeing the commitment of the teachers and staff, particularly over the past year, I’m happy be a part of the team and do what I can to help”

Dr. Michael Vazquez has participated as a member of League’s team for the past three years. “The work being done at the school is critical. Being a part of this team is a great way to ensure the school is able to advance their important mission”.  This year, Vazquez will be joined on the course by his three sons William (17), Daniel (15), and Ben (13).

“We are so excited to be able to participate in this race each year.” said Tim McCabe, League School’s Director of Development. McCabe went on to say, “We are honored that so many people from the community wanted to participate on our behalf. Fundraising aside, it is a tremendous opportunity for us to create awareness of the work being done at the school.”

League School would like to thank all of their generous sponsors: Direct Federal Credit Union, O’LYN Roofing, Siemens Healthineers, Dedham Savings, and Middlesex Savings Bank.
