Johnathan and Kyle Titus Named 2023 Director’s Award Winners
Local residents Johnathan and Kyle Titus will be presented with the 2023 Director’s Award at this year’s Night of Champions event.
The Director’s Award is given each year to an individual or group who works closely with the League School and helps further its mission. Johnathan and Kyle are local twins on the spectrum who, together with their mom, started a DJ business for local events. They embody the League School’s mission of enabling and empowering those on the spectrum to find meaningful and valuable work in their communities.
Johnathan and Kyle handle the equipment, select the music (including taking requests from those in attendance), and interact with guests in a friendly and engaging way at their events. League School students and staff have enjoyed their DJ skills at some recent school functions, including this year’s 5K Walk/Run for Autism and the school’s first-ever prom held in May.
Their mother, Jackie, who is a single parent, has been a terrific advocate for them, with support and guidance to help them succeed within the community.
Johnathan and Kyle will be presented with the award at this year’s Night of Champions event, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 5 at Four Points Sheraton Norwood. For more information on the event, click here.
