A Message from CEO Larry Sauer

The following is an important message from League School CEO Larry Sauer, relating to the recent changes at the school:

As one of the first schools in New England for students with Autism, League School of Greater Boston has seen many changes over its more than 55-year history. The school has been a pioneering educator, evolving to provide individualized, collaborative, and future-focused learning experiences for students to gain autonomy and joy.

Today we are excited to announce that the school has a new name, new branding, and a new website to more clearly communicate what we are all about.

OUR NEW NAME

Our new name, League School for Autism, and new logo highlight who we serve and broaden our reach beyond just the Greater Boston area.

OUR NEW BRAND

Our new brand, captured in our tagline “Open Your World,” reflects our mission to open a world of opportunities to students with Autism. It speaks directly to Autistic students as well as everyone else – parents, teachers, businesses, and the community – as a call to action to what is possible. It signals opportunity, strength, individualism, support, and potential.

OUR NEW WEBSITE

Our new website, leagueschool.org, showcases our new branding as well as provides easier navigation and more ways to engage. We hope you visit the site and learn something new.

OUR GUIDING PRINCIPALS

Pioneering. As one of the first schools for children with Autism in New England, we set the standard for Autism education.

Individualized. We meet students where they are, and meet the needs of each League student through specialized programs, staff, and resources.

Collaborative. We work as a team of educators and cheerleaders so our students can not only grow now but also in their future.

Anyone with questions can reach out to me at any time, at lsauer@leagueschool.com.

Together, we can Open Your World,

Larry Sauer
