NEWS: League School Runs the Falmouth Road Race for Autism Empowerment

The League School for Autism’s #TeamLeague is running in the Asics Falmouth Road Race on Sunday, August 18th in Falmouth, Massachusetts. Team members fundraise to reach individual goals in the hopes of achieving over $25,000 for the League School’s Autism Empowerment Fund, which helps to close the growing financial gap between what is possible through student tuition and the actual cost of ensuring our students have the necessary resources available to help them reach their vision of the future and achieve their best quality of life

Middlesex Savings Bank and O’Lyn Roofing are sponsors of this year’s #TeamLeague that’s made up of 20 team members. “Our devoted runners include League School staff, friends and family members, vendors and supporters, and middle and high school students. We’re extremely grateful to them for choosing League School as the benefactor of their fundraising efforts and running endurance,” remarked Tim McCabe, League School Director of Development. The Asics Falmouth Road Race draws an international field of Olympians, elite runners and recreational runners out to enjoy the scenic 7-mile seaside course. The non-profit Falmouth Road Race organization is dedicated to promoting health and fitness for all in its community. This year’s 52nd running of the race is expected to draw over 11,000 race entrants and an estimated 75,000 spectators along the course.
