League School to Host a Helpful Workshop for Parents
Next Thursday night, May 29th, at 6:30 P.M., the Parent Advisory Council (PAC) at League School of Greater Boston will be hosting a workshop for parents entitled “DDS and Transitional Services for Massachusetts Families” in the school’s auditorium at 300 Boston Providence Turnpike (Route 1) in Walpole.
The workshop’s guest speaker will be Victor Hernandez, a member of the state’s department of developmental services. Important issues to be covered in his presentation will include:
- Chapter 688 and Transition Planning for Adult Services
- DDS Adult Services/Programs
- Residential and Employment Support Services
- Chapter 688 & Individual Transition Plans
- MASSCAP
