Join Us on September 15 to Celebrate our Autism Champions
Join us for our Night of Champions Gala when we honor key organizations and people who have supported the school and its mission of helping students with autism develop to their fullest potential:
Thursday, September 15
6 – 9 PM
Four Points Sheraton Norwood – 1125 Providence Turnpike
The evening includes an auction, reception, dinner, and program moderated by Jon Meterparel, ESPN play-by-play broadcaster, news anchor at WLNE ABC6, and League School Ambassador. We’ll celebrate this year’s champions:
Sammi and Doug Robertson – The Vetstein Award for their demonstrated commitment to helping students with autism live to their fullest potential. The Robertsons’ Bailey’s Team for Autism foundation supported the League School through a generous iPad grant. Sammi also serves as the chair of the school’s Board of Ambassadors.
Cox Engineering – The Community Leadership Award for their passion for supporting people with autism and support of the school’s mission. Cox Engineering, a local HVAC solutions company, has been a loyal sponsor and supporter of our annual Fore Autism Golf event for the past four years.
MAAPS (the Massachusetts Association of Approved Special Education Schools) – The Board of Director’s Award for going above and beyond in supporting the League School and its mission. MAAPS, the state’s special education trade association, has been instrumental in advocating for and supporting the League School throughout the pandemic.
We will also present our newest award to a school employee in honor of League School’s retired Executive Director. The Frank Gagliardi Award recognizes a staff member who demonstrates a strong commitment to the mission of the school in keeping with Frank’s dedication.
We look forward to celebrating our Champions with you:
