Despite Rain, 5th Annual “Fore Autism” Golf Classic is a Success

This year’s “Fore Autism” Golf Classic raised $66,000 toward the completion of the League School’s outdoor learning space. A total of 134 committed supporters braved driving rain on June 14 to support the League School and our students. League School student, Anthony, provided inspiration as he described the positive impact the school and our teachers have had on his life.

Many thanks to Golf Classic corporate sponsors Shawmut Design and Construction, Cox Engineering Company, and Leggat McCall Properties. We couldn’t have put the event together without the dedicated efforts of planning committee members Bob Walsh, Lenny McAlister, Dave Surette, Dan McCarthy, Steve Chase, and Donny Wright. Thank you also to small group sponsors Dynamic Air Corporation, New England Applied Products, PIDC Construction, One Digital,

DPR Construction, Charles D. Sheehy, Inc., Dedham Savings, Direct Federal Credit Union, IQHQ, Lockwood/McKinnon, Intelligent Network Sales, Ipswich Bay Glass, MG+M the Law Firm, O’LYN Roofing, Siemens Healthineers, Wegmans, Signarama, and JST Transportation.

“The League School has been through a lot in the past year,” said Larry Sauer, Chief Executive Officer at League School. “The fact that so many chose to be there, in support of League School’s mission, was not lost on us and is deeply appreciated.”
