After 3 Year Absence Summer Fun Day is Back in Grand Form

Friday, August 12 from 10 AM – 2 PM

Summer Fun Day is an event students look forward to all year long, and we had to scale it back the last few years to ensure safety during the pandemic. This year, it’s back – bigger and better than ever! Our students look forward to welcoming parents and guests back on campus to enjoy this fun-filled day. “Summer Fun Day is one of the most fun days of the year when our students get to enjoy many activities along with their families and guests,” said Director of Education, Patrick Fuller. “Families and staff have the opportunity to mingle in a relaxed setting and everyone has a great time.”

This year’s event takes place Friday, August 12, from 10 AM – 2 PM throughout the campus rain or shine. A rotating schedule for staff and parents helps ensure students can participate in as many activities as they want. There are lots of activities planned including:

  • Pony rides
  • Dunk activity
  • Arts and crafts including decorating water bottles
  • “Touch a Truck” with Town of Walpole emergency vehicles
  • Spin art and tie-dye stations
  • Ice cream truck
  • Miniature golf
  • Photo booth

Students selected “sports” as this year’s theme, and there will be soccer and an obstacle course in keeping with the theme. One of our students designed this year’s T-shirt that includes sports equipment and is printed in golden yellow for students and royal blue for staff.

“We had a lot of participation in this year’s planning committee and they outdid themselves to make sure everyone has an enjoyable time,” said Patrick. “It’s a relaxed day and the kids are proud to share all the fun activities with their guests. We look forward to welcoming everyone back!”
