Donny Wright, Jr.

Donny Wright is a second-generation McDonald’s Franchisee who owns and operates a series of McDonald’s restaurants with his mother, Paula, in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.

Donny is actively involved in the McDonald’s system. He is on the National Technology Board, Regional Technology Lead, Regional Leadership Council, and is the local chapter President of the National Black McDonald’s Operators Association. He is a member of numerous Chambers of Commerce as well as a long-term Board member of the Assabet Valley Boys and Girls Club in Maynard.

Many of his restaurants host and sponsor McTeachers’ Nights and Safety days for the children in their communities, becoming an anchor partner in the towns in which they operate.

Through their help, League School secured a grant from Ronald McDonald House of Eastern New England. Donny and his mother were the inaugural recipients of League School’s Vetstein Award for their commitment to helping children in need.

Donny lives in Sudbury with his wife Marta and their three children. He enjoys spending time golfing.
