Founded in 1966, the League School for Autism has been empowering children and young adults with Autism for more than 50 years.
League School student Jake Sloan is participating in unified track through his home district of Sharon. He also participates in their unified basketball program in the winter. During Autism Empowerment Month, this is a shining example empowering persons with autism to access activities within their communities and amongst their peers

Awareness tells us that Autism exists, while acceptance changes lives by asking communities to adapt, value, and include Autistic people across every facet of life. Felt acceptance improves quality of life for Autistic individuals by boosting mental health, lowering anxiety, improving social connections, and increasing sense of self-worth.

STAR STRUCK WITH LOVE ON THE SPECTRUM
Last month, League School for Autism's Cheryl White and Lindsay Wagner attended the AANE (Association for Autism and Neurodiversity) 30th Anniversary Gala at City Winery in Boston. There, they had the opportunity to meet James B. Jones & Shelley Wolfe from Love on the Spectrum. You just never know who you're going to run into. It was a star struck moment and such a treat.

Presenters and panelists include Elyse Forbush from Run the Gamut; Kristine Biagiotti-Bridges from Dell Technologies; Lisa Drennan from MERGE Inclusion Consulting; Herb Cabral from Cabral Neurodiversity Services; Rick Marchand from Affordable Interior Systems (AIS); and Adam Belmore from Arc of Greater Brockton.
Lunch is included in your ticket price. A selection of Jersey Mike's sandwiches and beverages will be provided. Please indicate if you have dietary restrictions or require special accommodations.
