KALE CHIP CHALLENGE
How do you make kale chips taste good? League School for Autism Culinary students recently made kale chips using kale grown by their hydroponic system. Hydroponics is a soilless cultivation method that grows plants in nutrient-rich water with artificial lighting. Students can now grow certain plants, like kale, indoors year-round. That's all the motivation they needed to make their kale chips taste delicious!

WORKING WITH PURPOSE
Carlie is one of our newer League School students, who has been trying on various jobs around campus. Here she is working at the Hawk's Nest, our school store. She practiced stocking shelves, waited on customers, and counted out plastic cutlery for classrooms. She is doing great and you can tell by her smile that she loves working!
