Chairman of the Board

Roger Lockwood was Chairman of Lockwood/McKinnon Co. Inc., which operated 30 Taco Bell restaurants in southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Prior to opening the company’s first Taco Bell in 1989, Roger had a 30-year career in the motion picture theater business.

Along with being the Chairman of the Board of Directors of League School, Roger is a 42-year member of the Board of Trustees of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and an Honorary Advisory Member of the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation. Recently, Roger was awarded the newly renamed Lockwood Directors Award during the 2025 Autism Empowerment Gala for his tremendous leadership of the League School Board of Directors and generous support of our students, programs, and services.

Roger is a 1960 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University. Together with his wife, Sheila, he has six children and 13 grandchildren. His first wife, Carol, was a pancreatic cancer victim in 2002.
