Michelle Lagana

Michelle Lagana is an Educational Consultant with ICCD (Integrated Center for Child Development) who earned a Master’s degree in Education through Simmons University, with a specialization in Special Needs. She is certified through DESE in Intensive Special Needs, Pre-K-12, Wilson Reading, Safety Care, and endorsed in Sheltered English Immersion. She has worked with students with special needs for over 20 years and has extensive experience and training in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. She brings a depth of understanding of the field through her work in a variety of public and private school settings. Over the past several years, Michelle has built a successful private practice in Educational Consultation, Independent Program Evaluation, and Student and Family Advocacy. As an Educational Specialist/Consultant, she partners with families towards improving their children’s school programming and offering her expertise in helping determine appropriate support and services. This process includes, but is not limited to, conducting school observations, providing consultation to families and educators, and attending TEAM meetings. In addition, she participates in the educational assessment of children with moderate to severe special needs.

In her free time, Michelle enjoys reading and enjoys spending time with her family, husband Scott and their three beautiful boys, Anthony, Ryan, and Jack.
