Matthew Lane

Matt Lane is currently the Vice President of Real Estate Development and Asset Management with Volunteers of America Massachusetts (VOAMASS). Matt provides leadership to ongoing real-estate projects, develops asset management strategies for the agency’s existing portfolio, and collaborates across the organization on strategic planning for the future. Prior to his employment with VOAMASS, Matt served as a Division Director for the South Middlesex Opportunity Council, Inc. and has an extensive background developing programming to support anti-poverty initiatives. He is currently the Chairman of the Norwood Board of Selectmen, having been first elected to the Board in 2020.

Matt earned a Bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College and a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from the McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies at UMass Boston. Matt lives in Norwood with his wife, Lynn, and two children, Eliza and JP.
