Open Your World

League School for Autism opens a world of opportunities to students with Autism.

Our team of creative, collaborative, and committed special educators creates and implements an individualized curriculum for each student based on their strengths to prepare them for a fulfilling life in a neurodiverse world.

As one of the first schools devoted to Autism in New England, we invoke a pioneering mindset in everything we do, including how we guide our students based on their own vision of their future.

As the only school in Massachusetts to offer the innovative and evidence-based SCERTS® Model, which allows us to strategically customize a curriculum for each student, we are proud to measure success through the individual student’s achievements.

WHAT'S WITH THE WEATHER?
WBZ / CBS News Boston Meteorologist Jacob Wycoff stopped by League School for Autism yesterday to share his enthusiasm for weather and how meteorology predicts weather patterns with our students. Jacob will be featuring photos of the students during his broadcast on WBZ News this Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM. Tune in to see if you recognize any familiar faces. Thanks, Jacob, for another fun and informative presentation! The students loved it!

WORKING AT WINSLOW FARM
Can you tell Johnny loves his job? Here he is working at Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary, where League School for Autism students sort recyclables that are donated by community members. Once sorted, students bring the recyclables to the Mansfield Redemption Center and return the redemption funds to Winslow Farm, so they can be used to support the animals. Just another great example of Community Partners working together collaboratively to benefit the greater good.

I HAVE A DREAM
Teacher Kyle has been teaching her League School for Autism students about Martin Luther King Jr., encouraging them to share their ideas or "dreams" for a better future. With staff support, students shared their interest in working at a food pantry or animal shelter. Their ideas for building a better tomorrow also included:

*More support or resources for people who have either a physical or neurological disability"
*More support groups for special services"
*More support for the homeless"
*Supporting people of all races & genders"
*World peace/less violence"

Those are some very inspiring ideas from some very amazing students.
