Mary Lou McDonough Ed.D

Dr. Mary Lou McDonough has been a special educator for over 40 years. She earned her Doctorate in Special Education at Boston University. She holds a CAGS from Harvard University, an M.Ed. from Rhode Island College, and a BS from Lesley University. Mary Lou has worked as an Adjunct Faculty member at Simmons College, Lesley University, Lasell College, and Bridgewater State College.

Dr. McDonough is the Founder/President of Educational Consultants of Boston. She is certified as an elementary principal, elementary teacher, and as a Teacher of Students with Moderate as well as Severe Special Needs (K-12).

Most recently, Mary Lou worked as a special educator in Weston Public Schools. She is a former Secretary for the Massachusetts Council for Exceptional Children. A League School Board of Directors member since 2013, she serves as Chair of the New Directions Committee.
