David Walsh

David has 29 years of experience in the credit union and community banking industry. He started at Direct Federal Credit Union in October 1989. During his 15-year tenure, David held several positions that included Call Center Manager, Branch Administrator and Business Development Officer. In 2004, David held a Senior Management position at MIT Federal Credit Union in Cambridge and in 2014 David moved on to a business development role at Needham Bank in Needham.

In July of 2017, David returned to Direct Federal as the new Director of Community Relations. In this role, David is responsible for community philanthropy, donations, sponsorships and volunteerism efforts.

When not at Direct, you can find David engaged with his kid’s college and outside activities, on the golf course or spending time with friends and family.
